Hotel Vagia is built according to Aeginian architecture and is situated in a 4 acre green valley. The hotel has 21 comfortable and traditionally decorated rooms which are located in 2 two-storied buildings.

Visit the monastery with its imposing church of Aghios Nectarios, one of the most important Greek religious places. Opposite Aghios Nectarios monastery take a walk around the ruins of the medieval city, built on a small steep hillside. Today there still exist 36 well preserved churches out of 350, which were originally built in the old city - one of the best places for trekking - walking.
Visit Aghia Marina tourist resort and the Temple of Aphaia (500-400 B.C.) - one of the best-preserved Doric temples in Greece. From there enjoy also the panoramic view of Aegina island and the Saronic sea gulf.
Following the route from Aghia Marina to Portes, you will enjoy the panoramic view of the Aegean Sea until you reach the picturesque mountain village of Pachia Rahi. There you will come across with a breathtaking view of Agistri island, Peloponnesian mainland and the small isle of Moni. Do not forget to visit the Wild Animal Sanctuary which has sheltered more than 4,500 animal and bird species.The visit will offer you a unique experience.
Following the coastal road of Aegina visit Capralos Museum. After about 150m. you can see Nikos Kazantzaki's house.
Visit Aegina town with its picturesque narrow streets, museums, cultural events and vigorous nightlife. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the sea front with a view over the sailing boats and the sun set. Don't forget to visit the Archeological Museum, the Venetian Castle of Markellou and the Museum of Kapralou. From Aegina you can also follow the road along the coast and arrive at the village of Perdika.
